Tuesday, 20 October 200902:10 ![]() Yesterday we started our project on communicating our visions in black white. It was really fun experimenting with materials and we were free to take the project in what direction we wanted. I found it inspirational seeing what other people were doing, and I loved looking at the designers we were given to start our research. Gareth Pugh is one of my favorite designers so it was fun to base my own work on some of his designs. This image I found particularly inspiring especially how he has mirrored the front of the garment in the opposite shade on the back. I tried to use the layering technique when i was experimenting on the mannequins. It didn't turn out quite how I expected, but i preferred the outcome and this led me to experiment even further. |
