Tuesday, 10 November 200911:56 We were given our new design brief this week following our trip to London. I've chosen to study Mexican culture for this brief. I've always been interested in Frida Kahlo's work, and i think that it could be very influential towards my final piece. We were also shown a presentation showing Mexican art and culture as an example, which featured " The Mexican day of the dead" to celebrate the lives of family and loved ones who have passed away. I will definitely look into this as part of research, as the images we we're shown had lots of distinctive colours and patterns that could be interpreted into a design.
